As-U-R's Mission
As-U-R is dedicated to empowering college students with executive functioning challenges by fostering a strengths-based community that celebrates their unique abilities and accomplishments. We strive to create an inclusive environment that supports neurodiverse students through both their triumphs and challenges. By providing personalized guidance, resources, and peer connections, we aim to cultivate resilience, growth, and success. Aligned with the university's commitment to access, excellence, and innovative academic experiences, As-U-R ensures that every student can thrive academically and personally, both inside and outside the classroom
As-U-R is an intensive student support program focused on supporting students with executive function challenges (EFCs). The seven executive functions that As-U-R focuses on are:
- Monitoring (Self and Tasks)
- Planning and Organizing
- Working Memory
- Cognitive Flexibility (Switching)
- Initiation
- Emotional Regulation
- Inhibition
